services in Nagios

What are the services that should be running on Nagios server.

To my knowledge, following are the services that should be running on Nagios server.

1. nagios
2. nrpe
3. postfix
4. httpd

Are there any other services that should be running on Nagios server.

Also let me know, what is the sequence of stopping and starting services on Nagios server.

We are using Nagios core.

Those are the main services required for Nagios Core, and there is no special sequence you would need to use stopping and starting the services
