NagiosXI Event Handler Update Status Information

Post by dslaughter »

Is it possible for an event handler to update the status information for a service that executed the event handler?

For example, I would like the status information reflect the status of the event handler. Like event handler started and whether or not it succeeded.

You could use something like the external command in the example shown here

I think that will work. I'll start testing. Go ahead and lock this thread. I'll start a new one if necessary.
