Email settings in Nagios XI

Hi,

Currently am using sendmail to send alerts to users. I need some information here, currently we have a issue where nagios cannot send/delay in sending alerts to users because of network issue. we are also monitoring mail servers using nagiosxi. Is there any other way to send alerts. i see there is a way to send alerts via sendmail and SMTP, is there any setting where i can use both (based on availability) to send alerts.

Unfortunately, there is no such option in Nagios XI, however you could use Twilio notifications as an alternative to sendmail. Read more on how to integrate Twilio component with Nagios XI here:
