Is there any reason why I should not install some required by us packages that Nagios XI uninstalled? Our company has a couple required packages that need to be on there for us to be able to access the shell.

Our installer script only uninstalls 32 bit packages on 64 bit systems. This was done because there have been multiple package conflicts with XI required packages in the past. However, once the installer is completed successfully, you are welcome to reinstall the packages that you need for your company.
