Hello everyone,
I'm currently doing my apprenticeship and the company where i'm working with use Nagios Tools (Nagios, NagioSQL, Nagvis). Recently they booted the Nagios server again after few years and everything is working correctly, except the map on the nagios core interface which now it's unreadeable. According to my mentor, the map was working perfectly fine before few years ago, showing every listed equipment on the network properly (around 600 Cisco routers). I did some research but I couldn't find a relevant solution to fix my problem.
I may hope someone can help me to fix my personnal issue.
Thanks in advance,
Adriano

Re: Map issue Nagios core web interface
I believe they are all there they are just compressed in the circle layout, you either need to zoom in a lot, or choose a different layout type such as a balanced tree.
The circle layouts get hard to read unless you are using parent relationships which from the map it appears you are not

Re: Map issue Nagios core web interface
Even if we zoom, it is still too much compressed and unreadable.
However, I think your advice about to change the map layout problably work because I did not try to modify the map layout value. We can change the map configuration layout in the cgi.cfg file right? I'm not at my company currently and can't access to Nagios from home so I will try your solution once I am there.
Thank you for your response and I will be back here later to give my results.
