How to remove the contact from the downtime notifications

Post by IT-OPS-SYS »

when we are scheduling the maintenance which is recurring, one of the contact is getting the notifications related to maintenance started and maintenance ended .

how can we remove the contact from those notifications during the recurring downtime . Eg of those notifications are below

Date / Time Host Service Reason Escalated State Contact Dispatcher Information
2020-03-22 09:01:24 iadvcgf001 vCenter Server Version Downtime Ended No OK <contact name> Nagios XI OK: VMware vCenter Server 6.7.0 build-1024485

it should be going to nagiosadmin not to the contact person

Users can remove downtime notification by clicking their username (upper-right) and go to Notification Preferences then uncheck
Host Downtime:
Service Downtime:

If you are looking to to do this just for a specific service for all contacts
CCM -> Services -> Edit Service -> Alert Setting Tab
Under "Notification options" select all except "Scheduled Downtime"
Save
Apply configuration
