Configure host-perfdata & service-perfdata log.

Hi Team,

Can you please help me enable/configure below custom logs files.

1. /usr/local/nagios/var/host-perfdata

2. /usr/local/nagios/var/service-perfdata

I know these to be temporary storage for Nagios XI performance data that get cleared regularly, not log files...

Can you describe what you are looking to do?

We are trying to install "Splunk Add-on for Nagios Core" following the below instructions.

Hence as guided, trying to fetch the below files for Nagios logs which seems to be not updating in our case.

[monitor://$NAGIOS_HOME/var/host-perfdata]
sourcetype = nagios:core:hostperf

[monitor://$NAGIOS_HOME/var/service-perfdata]
sourcetype = nagios:core:serviceperf

While investigating further, we were able to locate the required dynamic files @ /var/nagiosramdisk/.
