Sharing reports

Post by anilgupta »

Team,
This is regarding the reports.

What are the other way to share the reports to management apart from sending email with PDF/CSV/JPG attachment.
Can we make our reports public so that interested person can access it without login into the nagios xi?

The only other way currently would be for you to create a read-only user and give them "can see all hosts and services" permissions so they can view the reports as well.

Please attach the PDF instead of the email message, I'm unable to get the attachment from the message.

Run this command as root (and leave it running):

Code: Select all

tail -Fn0 /var/log/httpd/error_log /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log
Then force the report to be sent, then send us the full output of the still running tail command after it has sent.

See here as well:

Code: Select all

Thank you

Hi,

That error code you are getting is typically the result of an incorrect sudoers file on the server. Run through the steps in the following article to correct, and let us know if you are able to download the profile.

Nagios XI - Profile Build Failed

Also, I would recommend optimizing the PHP settings on the server to rule out insufficient settings.
