Does acknowledged alerts send recovery alert

Hello everyone,

I have acknowledged few problem alerts (Critical/warning state). i can understand now they don't send notification until state changes? But Will they send recovery alert (Ok state) and send notification for same.

I do not believe that Nagios will send a notification after a state returns to OK, but you can look at this document to find out exactly how notifications work in Nagios core.

Nagios can be configured to send a notification once down time has ended, but I am not sure if that is of use to you. If you can tell us a little bit more about your specific use case, we may be able to advise on another feature in Nagios XI that can accomplish that objective.
