PNP4Nagios doesn't recreate RRD files

Post by wrkilu »

Hi,
I have Nagios 4.4.5 and Pnp4nagios 0.6.25. All worked great until I deleted rrd and xml files for one service. And now I tried everything but still PNP don't want to create new :( . In logs of npcd and NAgios - nothing. I don't understand how this soft is written that it can't handle that simple situation and now I have to waste so much time and nervous to fix it

Could somebody help?

And permissions are correct. All files and folders for hosts are owned by nagios and files are generated for another host correctly. But now for one host no.

Ok I've found the reason.

1. it wasn't true that in logs there wasn't anything important - it was but in other file! heh , but how could I know that after setting logelevel to debug it will write logs suddenly to nagios.debug instead to syslog

2. main reason: I up in the same time nrpe plugin which returned bad values and thats why simply PNP didn't generate rrd and xml heh. After fixing they get back right away :)

And on the and I owe apologies for Nagios developers who I offended so - I apologize , Nagios works good. :)

Cheers all
