I just installed log server and starting to point systems to it as a remote log server, but I noticed that the system is only using 50Gb of the 500Gb for logs. Should I be worried? Will it automatically adjust the amount of disk its using? Can I change that setting? I dont mind reinstalling, but would like to get it fixed before I point too many more systems to it.
thanks!

Re: size of the elasticsearch disk
Is this a source install or OVA install? How/where are you checking disk space?

Re: size of the elasticsearch disk
I installed it using the install script from the installation guide.
One of the default graphs is telling me that it only has 50Gb of space available to use.

Re: size of the elasticsearch disk
It sounds like the space may have been allocated some other than where NLS keeps the logs by default(/usr/local/nagioslogserver/elasticsearch). Instead of reinstalling/resizing partitions it may just be easier to change the location of the Elasticsearch database. See: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Server.pdf.
