PHP update

Post by enas »

Hi,
I'm running a virtual NagiosXI appliance. The CentOS release is "6.10 (Final)". The PHP version is 5.3.3.. I want to use the Threema gateway for notifications. The gateway needs at least PHP 5.4. I know how to replace the PHP installation.

My question is: Is there something to take care of when doing that? Are there dependencies related to NagiosXI?
Another question: Is there a guide to move NagiosXI to a fresh CentOS8 installation?

Thanks.
