Event Handler

Post by FCC_Nagios_Support »

Good afternoon.

I am an absolutely beginner in Event Handler scope. I'd like to trigger actions in the remote hosts when a problem such as a service goes down: start the service windows or linux.

Is this possible?

+Windows remote host service httpd in nagios goes down cause in the remote host something failed
1)Service goes down (service httpd)
2)An script start the service
99) How about exchange credentials to run remote plugins or scripts?

+UNIX remote host service httpd in nagios goes down cause in the remote host something failed
1)Service goes down (service httpd)
2)An script start the service
99) How about exchange credentials to run remote plugins or scripts?

Many Thanks In Advance
