Just upgraded to 5.7 and now I have:
PROBLEM Service Alert - localhost/Service Status - ndo2db is WARNING
ndo2db is not a part anymore of the Nagios XI install?
Also, as the upgrade wizard did not remove that standard check, are there new standard check for localhost to do? Is there and updated (v. 5.7) article on what to check locally on a Nagios XI host? Shouldn't the upgrade that care of that for us?
Bye, Dario
Nagiox XI 5.7 and ndo2db
Re: Nagiox XI 5.7 and ndo2db
Hello,
Because NDO3 replaces NDO2DB and the service/daemon for it no longer exists, the check is no longer necessary. You can remove the check from your system. NDO3 does not require a separate check because it now is part of how Core works in XI. It should be removed when upgraded, we will be add the removal of this service to the upgrade for future versions.
