Mount point for Nagios

Post by ets_user »

Dear Team,

We would like to use a different mount point for Nagios to store all the data and configuration details.

By default its /user/local/nagios, how can we point it to different path something like /home/nagios.

Thanks.

You could probably use symlinks in order to change the default paths. That being said, this would NOT be a supported instance of Nagios XI. You would be on your own with troubleshooting any issues, caused by using custom paths on your production system.

I would highly recommend that you don't change the default paths! If this is not possible, at least try your changes in a test environment first before applying them to production.
