Storage monitoring

Post by RIDS_I2MP »

Hello Team,

We are using below models for our storage devices/servers.

Storage model- Netapp
FAS2240
E2700/E 2812
FAS 2750
FAS 2552
FAS 2520
FAS 2554
Brocade SAN switch
IBM storage

Could you please help us to understand what all parameters we can monitor for the above storage models?
Also, provide a detailed information about how we can achieve the monitoring and what all are pre-requisites for the same.

Thanks in advance!!
Thanks & Regards,
I2MP Team.

Hi,

There are quite a few options on the Nagios Exchange for monitoring storage hardware, here's the link to the directory:

https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... AN-and-NAS

Take a look and let me know if you have any specific questions. Also, many of these plugins use SNMP, so you could also use the SNMP wizard(s) available in Nagios XI to set up checks.
