Any one of you made a script shell that takes a backup of the nagios servers files and place it on diff /home/backupuser on daily basis.
would appreciate of any backup ideas for the nagios server.

You should be able to backup everything from Admin -> System Backup -> Scheduled Backups.

You can enable local backups, and download them manually, or setup backup to be sent off to another server via FTP or SSH. If you need to get it to a different local directory, you can change the location in the Local Backups section.
