This sounds like the system time might be off

What do you see in Admin -> System Profile -> View System Info in the "Date/Time" section?

For clarity, both PHP and system time matched?
e.g.

Code: Select all

PHP Timezone: US/Central
PHP Time: Thu, 23 Jul 2020 12:00:45 -0500
System Time: Thu, 23 Jul 2020 12:00:45 -0500

yes, both matched.

Code: Select all

Date/Time
PHP Timezone: Europe/London
PHP Time: Mon, 27 Jul 2020 08:49:30 +0100
System Time: Mon, 27 Jul 2020 08:49:30 +0100

I'm confused, first you said Chicago time, and them you showed London time.

the difference between these 2 timezones is 6 hours, which is the difference you are seeing, you need to set the time periods based on the time set in the system
