Can one stop these pesty popups?

Before I submit my first "real" question a complaint re. this support website:
I am getting 2-4 popups on each and every page that I access in this forum:

The first tells me to "Say hello to Nagios XI 5.7!" - even though I just downloaded the latest and greatest ||-(
And then there is this stupid "This site uses Cookies...".

It would be OK if I get these popups ONCE for this site, but getting them over and over and over and .... again on each single page is really annoying! On some pages these both even pop up twice. Having to click away up to four popups on each page is definitely too much! Do you want to shy away visitors or what? Please fix this!

This is using Google Chrome in case this matters.

These only display one time unless you either do not agree, or disable cookies for the site (which is the only way for us to determine if your browser has already accepted them)
