SELinux support

Post by WillemDH »

Hello, when can we expect SELinux support? This is becoming an issue for compliance..

Hi Willem,

Hope you are doing well. I appreciate you checking on this and we value your feedback. Unfortunately, SELinux is not on the roadmap right now for Nagios XI, so we haven't made changes with the last few months.

As far as compliance goes, I may be able to make some recommendations or workarounds, just let us know the specifics.

Benjamin,

Well the fact is that we have quite a bit of Linux servers with a whole range of applications on it and currently our Nagios server is the only one where we cannot enable SELinux...

Also, please check this
=> https://access.redhat.com/articles/5320961
=> https://www.mcafee.com/blogs/other-blog ... practices/

So we need to enable SELinux..

Grtz

Noted. I will share this with the team. Also, thanks for the additional links.
