Customizing Mail Body "new password"

Post by Roger B »

Hi ev´rybody,
I would like to change the default content of the automatic email, that goes to a new user, or when I changed the password of the user and I check mark "email user new password".
I´ve looked through the administrator guide but could not find.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hey @Roger B!

Welcome to the forum. :D

You can change the verbiage for that email if you navigate to Admin using the top bar of XI > then click System Settings under System Config on the left pane > select the User Accounts tab > and change the text in Body Text: under New User Account Information Email to whatever you like.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.
