Please give me some assistance.
I have an opensuse 11.1 box running Nagios core 3.2.3.
I want to upgrade to the latest version of Nagios Core, but when I try to run the Opensuse update, it does not pull in the Nagios Core to update.
YES, I am a major novice to this, but I am trying to learn.
Thanks,
Scott
Upgrading from Core 3.2.3 in Opensuse
Re: Upgrading from Core 3.2.3 in Opensuse
If you are using the package manager for OpenSuse (zypper or yast) you might be stuck with 3.2.3 until the repos are updated. Can you do the following on the command line:
zypper info nagios
If the package name is something else then use that, otherwise that should show you the most recent version available, which may be 3.2.3.

The results indicate as you suggest.
Guess I will build a new box.
Thank you,
Scott
