Hello XI support
I went over the previous tickets and still have questions:
1. How we could update NSclient to use NRPE v.3 (or a different packet length) - its stable version is unchanged for years?
2. How to update check_nrpe commands if we use dozens of them?
3. How to coexist NRPE 2 and 3 if we have hundreds of windows / linux hosts to upgrade NRPE on?
Thank you

Hi @dlukinski,
No problem, just let me know if you need clarification on anything. NSClient is not our agent so it would be necessary to put in a request with the developer to make any changes on that end. That said, you can add the -2 or -3 option to use the older packet type. The steps are explained in the following KB article.
NRPE - Remote does not support Version 3 Packets
You can add the option to use the other packet type by editing the command in the CCM. Go to Configure > CCM > Commands. You can also use the Bulk Mods Tool to the command or arguments on multiple hosts or services.
