Agent Installation Failed on Ubuntu 18.04!!

HI there,

Hope you can help with this, it happened when installing the Nagios XI agent, am I missing some package? gcc is available on the server:

checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in `/tmp/linux-nrpe-agent/subcomponents/nagiosplugins/nagios-plugins-2.3.3':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
