GUI not giving output

Thank you for the suggestion.

I have tried updating the script with single quotes but it didn't work, it still throws the same error.

Run this and post the output so we know what version of the plugin you are running.

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_mssql_health -V

I have a question, what sets the $password$ macro?

Thanks for your suggestions.
We had a support call earlier last week and downgraded to NDO2DB.
This got fixed after that.
