Downgrade Enterprise edition to standard

Hello,

A customer needs a reduce in costs and is inquiring if it is possible to downgrade.

What is the process to downgrade NagiosXI Enterprise to Standard?
Is the license purchased perpetual? Actually the question is : after the downgrade to standard will there have to be annual (or any other) costs?
From what I understand there will be no support whatsoever (we are way past the 1st year)
