Problems with Hosts
Hi Guys,
we have a Testinstallation Nagios XI on a Vsphere 5 Host. We have a few problems with the Product and need help:
- when i add a Host with the Wizard i can add 3 Hosts and the i see the message "Database Write TimeOut"
- When i delete a Host in Nagios Core, Hosts.cfg, services.cfg and i the database with mysqladmin the host monitors after a few time again, but the host ist not in the Database.
- when i edit a service in Nagios Core the changes were not applied
- where can ssh credentials be set

Re: Problems with Hosts
What is the Wizard that you are using? Can you describe in details the steps that you took before you got the "Database Write TimeOut" message? Any screenshots?- when i add a Host with the Wizard i can add 3 Hosts and the i see the message "Database Write TimeOut"
Please, review this document. This is how you are supposed to manage host and services in Nagios XI. Deleting config files manually is not a good idea.- When i delete a Host in Nagios Core, Hosts.cfg, services.cfg and i the database with mysqladmin the host monitors after a few time again, but the host ist not in the Database.
When you say: "Nagios Core", do you mean: "Nagios Core" or Nagios Core Config Manager"?- when i edit a service in Nagios Core the changes were not applied
Can you elaborate on this? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?- where can ssh credentials be set

Re: Problems with Hosts
It is likely due to php max_execution_time and memory_limit. Here is some instructions on how to fix this situation

Re: Problems with Hosts
There are a few "ssh" wizards. Which one are you using? Can you show a screenshot? Download link?
