Hi ,
Once a hard critical alert is generated due to NRPE socket timed out there is no Hard ok alert generated once the service is back to green .
I'm attaching the service state history screenshot for the same .
This is an occurring issue , could please advice a permanent fix .

Thanks for posting the screenshot, that is very helpful, So it was in HARD critical state and then recovered but the recovery is still soft and it would not send out a recovery notification until it reached HARD Ok state again.
In this case, it would check the service 5 times (retry interval) before moving to a hard ok state.
Also, make sure you have the recovery notices set on the notifications options for the service.
