User Not Receiving notifications

User Not Receiving notifications

I have setup a new user. I have verified that notifications are enabled. Looking at the email and sms settings for notifications they are setup the same as the rest of our users. He his in the contact group that manages the hosts and services for the specific host groups and service groups that he manages. When he is in Nagios IX he is able to see these hosts and services and is able to acknowledge any that are down.

What am I missing in this setup?

Hi Rod,

Just to check again, make sure the notification preference for this user are set correctly. If you logged in as an admin, you can masquerade as a user to check this by going to Admin > Manage Users > Actions Column.

If that's not our issue here, send me your system profile along with the exact name of the contact, and I'll check the configurations.

Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and share in a private message or upload it to the post/ticket, and then reply to this post to bring it up in the queue.
