notification question
notification question
One of our sites had a power issue and a circuit went down. The vendor came in and fixed the issue but the device still showed down in Nagios. This wasn't caught for several days. Is there a way to have an acknowledgement expire after 24 hours so it sends a notification if Nagios still sees it is a problem?

Re: notification question
Hi Greg,
Once you acknowledge an alert, it won't send another alert until the state has changed again. The other option here is to put the host or service in a scheduled downtime, when the scheduled downtime expires, you will start to receive the alerts again.
Let us know if you have any questions.
