Hi All,
Would like to know if there is any way to have port down alerts triggered as Informational, rather than critical... We have a requirement from customer and they also are going to have visibility to dsashboard.. and for them port down is not critical for all switches and hence they want to do this way...

Re: Changing Alert Severity for port down
Hi,
Those levels are determined by the output code passed to Nagios Core and it's not possible to create custom tags based on defined thresholds.
You could certainly configure this to not send a notification when a port is down or just simply not run checks on the port (if it's not necessary).
Let me know if that helps answer your questions.
Benjamin
