Hi folks, i have followed this guide to enable sound alert in nagios core but it speaks on every refresh and i want that it plays the file only once is it possible ?

That option is set in the CGI configuration file and the options are limited.

You might want to just set up the audio for the most important state changes or slow down the refresh rate to cut down on unwanted alerts.
