NagiosXI generating reports is very slow

Hi Support,

Nagios XI Installed Version: 5.4.5
OS: RedHat 7.3 (Maipo) (3.10.0-514.16.1.el7.x86_64 x86_64)
Server: HP Product Name: ProLiant DL360 Gen9

The Reports page on Nagios is really slow generating reports.

The scheduled reports appear to be fine, once you've managed to get to one being configured.

I've been asked to raise a support ticket to ask if there are recommendations / solutions to advise what can be done to optimize or improve the speed of creating certain reports. even if I generate a particular report to run overnight I get a PDF which just shows a turning wheel of busy death.

Usually, when you see that turning the wheel in the PDF, it's timing out or hitting the PHP limits. Please follow the steps in the knowledgebase article below to optimize the PHP settings on this server and let me know if you notice an improvement.
