Rookie Mistake?

Post by dclick »

Good morning everyone. I am currently evaluating making to NagiosXI.
I was attempting to create a new Ping "service" yesterday and managed to do something the system isn't happy with - when I try to apply a configuration now, i get failures with this message -
Error: Could not find any host group matching '' (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/PING.cfg', starting on line 23)

I look in the location indicated, and I see the PING.cfg file, so I am not sure what is causing this particular error. the PING.cfg file looks ok to me, but i obviously did something wrong.

could anyone throw me a bone and help me fix this?

Hello,

I think the issue is due to a relatioship with a hostgroup that is either wrong or does not exist. Check that. (Not an expert here but I have seen errors like this in the past)

Kind Regards
