The gateway did not receive a timely response

Hello,
Since a shutdown and startup of our Nagios Core 4.4.3, we have been unable to make any administrative changes in the web console. Any change returns error message, Gateway Timeout, The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application. Have anyone experienced this? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
