If I have nagios instance A running on server1, can I take nagios instance B running on server2 and add it to nagios instance A on server1?
If so, would the process have to be done manually where all of the configuration from nagios instance B is added via the GUI for nagios instance A?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: combine two nagios instances
Hi,
Migrating From Nagios Core
Since this is not a Core server, you wouldn't need the import prep tool. Nagios Core is more flexible in its configuration than XI and this tool breaks the individual host files by host.
This method will not migrate historical data or user accounts from the other server.
Let me know if you have more questions about this process.
We also have a product called Nagios Fusion, which is a centralized dashboard between multiple XI severs that maybe of interest to you.

Yeah, the best approach would be a manual migration of the configurations over from XI B to XI A. The process is outlined in the guide below. If so, would the process have to be done manually where all of the configuration from nagios instance B is added via the GUI for nagios instance A?
