We were just about to upgrade from version 5.6.14 to 5.7.5
However version 5.8.0 has now been released, does this new version address the possible issues with upgrading to NDO3 on 5.7+
Does Version 5.8.0 address NOD3 update issues

I highly recommend upgrading directly to 5.8 instead of 5.7.5. Recommended keeping a Nagios XI test environment and upgrading the test environment before upgrading your production environment.NDO - 3.0.5
-----------
- Drastically reduced startup time for some systems
- Fixed occasional long shutdown times in Nagios Core
- Fixed segmentation faults related to severed MySQL connections
- Fixed issue with service display_name being set to the service description
