BPI API

Post by J.A.K »

Is there a way to get members of a BPI group via the API? We've created a basic company status page for the average user to view the current status of critical apps in BPI groups, but we'd like to be able to expand out what hosts\services are having the issue when it's not at 100%. We tried just recursing down but with a couple thousand hosts and 10k+ services doing a check on every host times the amount of users hitting the page is a bit much for the XI box to handle via API calls.

Not currently, that functionality doesn't exist at this time, I can submit a feature request to development on your behalf if you'd like?

Yeah if you could that would be fantastic. The idea is for us to make a more basic frontend for a common user to see status without adding them as a user to Nagios. It works, but this feature would greatly simplify our webcode.

HI J.A.K,

Thanks for your feedback and got this submitted for you. Please keep in mind that the decision to implement the enhancement is at the discretion of our development team.
