Uploading MIB's after Nagios Update to 5.8.1

Hi
we are in the process of upgrading from nagios to 5.6.1 to 5.8.1
we moved from Centos7 to Ubuntu 20.04LTS

After a few issues we have Nagios Installed however some of the MIB's are now not working

in the Manage MIBs page
i have duplicate lines with Unknown (Missing Database Entry)

when i have tried to delete these MIBs and upload new MIBs

NET-SNMP-EXAMPLES-MIB.txt

the same issue occurs

is there some other file that has requires updating ?

I labbed this up in the same OS/XI versions and I'm unable to replicate it.

Please remove that one from Admin > Manage MIBs, then re-add it, then after that's done:

This has been confirmed as a bug, I have submitted it to development so they can fix it.

Any update on the status of this bug fix?

As far as I can tell I am literally have the same exact problem on a NagiosXI installation after attempting to install SNMP MIBs after an update.
I even checked the output from the sql command you posted and the MIBs in question appear to be present.

I checked the bug report and development hasn't fixed it yet. I took a look before submitting it but I couldn't figure out what needed to be changed so we'll need to wait on them to fix it.

You should be able to put the MIBs in /usr/share/snmp/mibs manually and then run these commands against it:

chown apache.nagios /usr/share/snmp/mibs/yourmibfile.ext
chmod 0664 /usr/share/snmp/mibs/yourmibfile.ext

Helping Sean on this post, it should be fixed, however, I'm having trouble locating this in the changelog right now. I will follow up shortly once I've had a chance to reach to development on this.
