yes, some of the hosts are assigned to both groups.is that a problem? i created similar templates with hosts in both groups and there are no issues.

Hi,

If some hosts are members of both groups, there will be a relationship with both service templates. You can always override this by setting a local check_command as local variables take precedence.

Do you know the exact name of the hosts in the questions? I can cross-check this in the configs.

Hi,

Yeah, those services are members of both host groups. The reason one is working and the other is not I believe is just related to the order of operations with the software.

Do you have one or two services defined in the CCM for Memory Services? If only one, try adjusting the priority order of the templates, the top assigned template will take precedent over the ones below it.

I have two services defined for Memory Services in CCM.

I have moved template definition and service definition one up and override seems to be working now.
