Upgrade Nagios XI VM from 5.2.7

We are running the Nagios image for 5.2.7. Are there instructions for upgrading it to 5.8 available somewhere? We are in a very restricted network with limited Internet connectivity so this may have to be done manually. Thanks.

What OS is your Nagios XI running on right now?

I would suggest that you do the upgrade on a new VM. Test out the process first just incase things go wrong with the upgrade.

Here's my suggestion:
I would create a new "clean" CentOS/RHEL 7 VM

Install Nagios XI 5.2.7 on the new CentOS/RHEL 7 using offline install
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... onment.pdf
https://repo.nagios.com/?repo=offline

Restore from 5.2.7 backup onto the new CentOS/RHEL 7
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf

Upgrade to 5.8.1 on new CentOS/RHEL 7
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ctions.pdf
