Re: email notification
Hi,
The fact that the XI user contact is working but the Group contacts is not working suggests that the contacts in that group do not have the right notification handlers set. Do you know those contacts in the Group also have GUI access (XI user accounts)?
This is covered in the following guide:
Configuring Core Contacts to Use Nagios XI PHPMailer SMTP Settings
If that's not the issue, how do you have the Email Settings configured, using Sendmail or SMTP? You can check this by going to Admin > System Config > Email Settings
Let me know the Group and the exact name of the user that is working and I'll check the settings in the system profile.
To send us your system profile.
Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Thanks,
Benjamin

Re: email notification
Thank u for your reply ,I have configured using SMTP EMAIL Settings.
users created using XI contact and it has GUI access has receiving full notification .
And our group email ids created via CCM contact and set the handler using "notify-host-by-email" "notify-service-by-email "has issue .Instead of sending all email it has sent one or two mail daily to the group…I think its sending via sendmail.
In that case how we can configure to those Email id , As you stated I should use the :Core Notification Handler Script"
and also how we can check the logs of XI user notification sent.

Re: email notification
Hi,
This can be set in the CCM (Configure > Core Config Manager) under the Alert tab for the contact. Change the notification commands. Typically, contacts will be inheriting this from a template, so the other option is the change or update the template.
That sounds like the issue here, you'll want to update those contacts to use xi_host_notification_handler and the xi_service_notification_handler.And our group email ids created via CCM contact and set the handler using "notify-host-by-email" "notify-service-by-email "has issue .Instead of sending all email it has sent one or two mail daily to the group…I think its sending via sendmail.
