Hi ,
I an using Nagios Core 4.0.8, and I am having around 6000 machines monitoring on this server. Without any impact how I will upgrade to the latest one?
I have some customisation on command.cfg file, contact.cfg and contactgroup.cfg etc...
Will it overwrite any existing files ?

Hi,
The upgrade process will not overwrite the configs, but be sure to back up everything up before upgrading.
How did you install Nagios Core? If it was from source, I would recommend following the guide below
