Currently we have a offline Nagios XI environment at production but our environment is internet inaccessible. So I do try using the XI tarball to upgrade it, unfortunately it is not successful.
I facing problem like Epel repo cannot accessible since internet inaccessible only have Red Hat Satellite connected. So would like to check any optional way to upgrade the Nagios XI from 5.8.1 to latest using fully offline method? Means that not using Epel repository and Nagios repository anymore, only rely on Red Hat own repository.
Upgrade Offline 5.8.2
Re: Upgrade Offline 5.8.2
Hi,
Please pick up the offline package from the URL below and follow the instruction from that page as well:
https://repo.nagios.com/?repo=offline
You might have to setup proxy to be able to complete the install process.
Please check with your system admin for proxy info like server and name/password.

Please test out the upgrade on your test system first.

Re: Upgrade Offline 5.8.2
Hi @vtrac,
Unfortunately cannot find 5.8.2 at https://repo.nagios.com/?repo=offline. The version that they have for latest version is 5.8.1.
I'm checking with team member and see is there anyway to do it or not.
Let say if cannot use any proxy server as well?

Hi,
Yes, the latest package is 5.8.1 right now.
5.8.2 will comes out later, since it will take a few weeks to create those rpm packages.
