Installing Test Nagios Log Server
Installing Test Nagios Log Server
I'm installing the TEST environment Nagios Log Server via manual instructions since the target drive is mounted of /opt. Will the Nagios Log Server detect this or will I need to update the $basedir variable somewhere?
Re: Installing Test Nagios Log Server
We would not recommend installing anywhere other than the default location. Some components are hard coded to expect the installation at /usr/local/nagioslogserver.
That said, the largest part of an NLS installation is the elasticseach database and this can be moved. See https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Server.pdf.

Ok, I had the mount changed to /usr/local/nagioslogserver. Thank You.
