I have a Nagios XI server configured and running fine. It has many users imported from our internal Active Directory server.
Now, I want to setup a few more instances of Nagios XI Servers, and hence, am looking for a easy way to copy/export the users already configured in the running Nagios XI server and then paste/import those users into the new Nagios XI servers. Please help!
copy users(AD) from one Nagios XI instance to another

Re: copy users(AD) from one Nagios XI instance to another
Hi,
Currently, there isn't a direct method of exporting and importing users from one XI server to another. One option would be to perform a backup and restore procedure, however, this will carry over everything.
Let us know if you have more questions or any comments.

Re: copy users(AD) from one Nagios XI instance to another
Hi Benjamin,
Thank you for the response.
I have another question: Is there a way to import users from AD group?
Currently, I am selecting each user from AD and importing them to Nagios. However, I am looking for a way to import all users who are part of an AD group into Nagios at once.
Thanks & Regards,
Ashok

Hi Ashok,
Good question. Right now, that functionality does not exist, but there has been a feature request submitted already. I will definitely +1 the request on your behalf.
