Monitor VCSA 6.7 Through Nagios XI

Hi Support Team,

Need your help here for enabling monitoring VCSA 6.7 as one of our customer want to monitor VCSA 6.7 through Nagios XI so please help us to setup monitoring for it. Please share steps that how can we enable VCSA 6.7 monitoring in Nagios XI monitoring tool.
We are using Modgearman concept for customer monitoring for getting data of devices we are using probe server in customer environment so please share steps accordingly becuse customer want to monitor VCSA through privately. We are waiting for your reply.

VCSA version is 6.7U3

Thanks for your update.

The things is that we are using Mod Gearman concept in customer environment and we can not directly scan the data through Nagios XI monitoring tool because we are using Probe server to get data of customer devices.

Which VM need to monitor through Nagios XI monitoring tool that VM is related to Linux but that is the custom Linux so please suggest that we can use any agent, SNMP for adding monitoring of that VM services, as customer want to monitor CPU, Memory and Disk for that VM through Ngaios XI monitoring tool.

Also share steps if any Agent is suitable for that VM monitoring.

Also let us know if any details is require from our side to check feasibility.

You could try the Linux SNMP configuration wizard

It covers the parameters you are looking to monitor:

You will need to make sure snmp is installed on the VMs, is running as a service, and will allow access from
the Nagios xi server. The Access Control is configured in /etc/snmp/snmp.conf
