Hello,
Nagios offered a new update from 5.5.7 to 5.8.3, but when I made the update I ended up waiting with no updates. this is the message that I have " Update in progress. Please wait. Update may take a few minutes" any idea on what is happening, and how to stop it.

If you PM me a system profile I can diagnose further. Get one by going to Admin (top menu) => System Profile (in the left menu), then clicking the blue button.
If you're unable to generate the the profile through the web interface, please try generating it from the command line by running these commands as root:
Then send me the resulting /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip file.
If the profile script fails, please include the ENTIRE output.

I'm not entirely sure the whole profile was sent. It should have been downloaded in the form of a zip file. If you generated it from the command line, it should have been placed in /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip on the Nagios XI server. If you could scp it off the server and PM it to me, that would be great.
The reason the profile zip is important for debugging is that it comes with a slew of system logs that I can read to analyze how the system went awry.
