Enable recursive Alert suppression

Post by sneha.irali »

Hi Team,

We have received a request from Customer to enable the alert suppression for ESXi-CPU alerts as per the below mentioned schedule every week:

10:00 PM CST Saturday to 6:00 AM CST Sunday
We did enable the Recursive alert suppression on Nagios, however it doesn't seems to be working attaching the snap of settings configured.
As per the snap I have created a service group[called as ESXi-CPU] onto which all the ESXi CPU services are mapped.

Please help us to get this enabled.

What version of XI are you running? You can grab the version from the bottom left hand side of the web interface.

Please PM me a copy of your profile, you can download it from Admin > System Profile by clicking the Download Profile button.

PM me these files as well:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagiosxi/var/recurringdowntime.log
/usr/local/nagios/var/archives/nagios-05-31-2021-00.log
/usr/local/nagios/var/archives/nagios-06-01-2021-00.log
