Has the NDO 3 issue for large installations been resolved?

Hi. I've been asked to find out if the issue with NDO 3 for some larger installations been resolved?

We had to downgrade to NDO2DB on our last uprgrade to XI 5.8.1.

Unfortunately this has not been solved yet. The developers are trying to find
the root cause of the syssegv faults still.
